This week’s KPI data overview highlights key metrics and trends shaping the ETF landscape:

  • There were 33 new listings and 10 delistings over the last week, bringing the total number of U.S. ETFs to 5,589 funds.
  • AUM was down 0.4% last week to $16.4 trillion but +34.3% YoY.
  • New listings over the last twelve months total 1,406 ETFs, of which 1,343 remain active, with current AUM of $128 billion. 84% of these recent listings are actively managed (86% by AUM).
  • We count 493 issuers competing for a slice of the $28.3 billion annual “fee pie.”
